Camou College of Creativity recently welcomed students from King’s International School for an immersive creative media school visit in Malaysia at Iskandar Malaysia Studios.

The visit introduced students to the possibilities available within the digital and creative industries. Rather than only hearing about creative careers in a classroom, participants were able to enter an active production environment and gain a clearer understanding of how creative skills can develop into professional pathways.

A King’s International School Visit Focused on Future Careers

During the King’s International School visit, students were introduced to Camou’s multidisciplinary approach to creative education.

The experience encouraged them to consider how interests in filmmaking, design, animation, photography, digital art, audio production and visual communication can connect to future careers.

For many young students, deciding on a future direction can feel overwhelming. A creative media school visit in Malaysia provides an opportunity to see what creative education involves before making important study decisions.

The session also allowed students to ask questions, observe the learning environment and understand how creative projects are developed through teamwork, experimentation and practical production.

Exploring a Professional Production Environment

A key part of the experience was the Iskandar Malaysia Studios tour, which gave students exposure to a professional production setting.

Seeing the environment firsthand helped participants understand that creative media education involves more than software and assignments. It requires communication, planning, technical knowledge, problem-solving and the ability to transform ideas into completed work.

The Iskandar Malaysia Studios tour also provided a wider perspective on how different creative departments work together within the media industry.

The King’s International School visit reflected Camou’s commitment to helping young people explore creative possibilities through direct exposure.

By organising a meaningful creative media school visit in Malaysia, Camou hopes to encourage students to recognise their interests, discover new career options and approach their future with greater confidence.
