There is something worth the wait — but that is definitely not EDUCATION! To keep up our students’ momentum, we are not letting the pandemic hinder us from delivering knowledge.
Since January, while COVID-19 had only just started its outbreak in China, our Head of Academic sensed the danger and immediately launched an online learning system right after we returned from the Chinese New Year break. Launching early gave our students a buffer to adapt, and allowed the academic team to refine the system. From early February, Camou Academy began its trial run of online lessons, with students attending from home.
After a month, all schools and institutes were instructed to close due to the worsening pandemic in Malaysia. However, we had already minimised the modifications needed, and attendance in each class rose drastically. Through online learning, our lecturers share their screens and annotate notes live, and students enjoy learning while staying cozily at home.
In the midst of the chaos, we also welcomed a new batch of Camou juniors into the family — overcoming every obstacle to launch our very first E-Orientation, where newbies got to know each of the lecturers and staff.
