Where It All Began
Camou Studio opens its doors — driven by a burning passion for creative education — and welcomes its very first batch of students.
Paradigm Mall Graphic & Video Design
Camou was awarded first and second prize in a design competition held during a wedding exhibition at Paradigm Mall.
Comic Fiesta
We became the Gold Sponsor of Comic Fiesta — Malaysia’s most well-known comic, manga, anime and cosplay convention.
3D Lorry Award
Ng Wan Sin, a 2018-batch student, won Silver in the Benxon Lorry Innovation Design Competition (3D Design Lorry Sticker 2019).
First International Campus
Camou goes global — collaborating with a design team from the Philippines to officially set up our first international campus.
Tokyo Game Show — Malaysia Delegation
Camou was handpicked by MDEC to represent Malaysia at the biggest game-show exhibition in Asia.
Kancil Awards
Our first venture into Malaysia’s most recognised design award — our students earned two awards in the Animation & Film Production category.
JFA — Johor Film Academy
Camou is proud to be the only appointed media-arts academy collaboration in Southern Malaysia.
A New Hostel
We moved into an upgraded, fully air-conditioned hostel with a security alarm and 24-hour gated community.
Online Learning
When Covid-19 halted physical classes, we adapted overnight to online learning — with zero impact on students’ progress.
Camwerk Malaysia
Camwerk — founded in Singapore, expanded to Cambodia and Malaysia — set up its Malaysia branch with Camou as the country’s only high-end film-equipment rental house.
M.A.T.E
Media Arts Technology Expo — Malaysia’s first education exhibition combining art and technology, co-hosted with Xi Fang Academy, Camwerk, Chicken Feet, PinHead and many industry professionals.
PinHead — Game Art FYP
Partnering with PinHead, the Singaporean education game-development company, Camou students build game-art assets as their final-year project — opening the door to the game industry.

Recognised by Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) for quality creative training.
Partnership with OMG
Camou partners with Oceanus Media Global (OMG) — Southeast Asia’s leading creative media and virtual production company — bringing world-class industry experience directly into the classroom.
Camou College of Creativity
Camou moves to Southeast Asia’s largest studio — at the heart of Iskandar Malaysia Studios (IMS) — and becomes Camou College of Creativity.
