Everything starts from a burning passion towards education!
Camou Academy is originated from Camou Studio, which was founded back in 2010. While observing Malaysia's media design industry that was lacking of versatile designers—the capabilities of the majority was just limited to a single aspect of design which was to promote a better quality of design teaching, the director of Camou Studio dedicated himself in teaching media design where students are able to master 8 aspects of media design through the course designed. Students would become versatile enough to fulfill most of the employers' requirements through the knowledge and skills acquired through the courses. After establishing Camou Academy, the institute has started to receive recognition among plenty of industries. Employers were satisfied with our graduates' quality and have provided positive feedback for Camou Academy. This further consolidated our confidence level to continue delivering great quality design education to our current students. The institute has also partnered with City of Oxford College to become one of its partner institutions, which Camou Academy's students will be awarded with the UK DIploma qualification by City of Oxford College, UK. |
From a single storey shophouse in Bukit Indah, Camou Academy has shifted to Danga Utama for a larger space to better facilitate students' usage. Within just a few years after, Camou Academy has gradually expanded and currently, the institute owns three buildings (each with 3.5 floor), thus growing to become the largest media design institute in Southern Malaysia.
Camou Academy is also actively expanding its industrial connections these few years, in order to furnish students' with better learning experience and opportunities. Currently, Camou Academy has developed its very own ecosystem, partnering with different industrial experts to establish companies, which includes a performing arts institute founded by Terence Cao (Singapore Artist), 3D animation studio, equipment rental house and media company in Singapore. Camou Ecosystem also created a platform that allows the exposure of students towards different industrial experts, also opens up more job opportunities for Camou students! In the future, Camou Academy strives to continue providing quality design education for our students, at the same time, providing more opportunities and better learning experience for Camou Academy's students! |
